Series #1 of our Fall Culturally Responsive Teaching Series led by Kathryn Sorrells, Communication Studies
This series of workshops, led by Professor Kathryn Sorrells (Communication Studies) focuses on how to facilitate difficult dialogues and classroom interaction regarding different perspectives, positionally privilege, and power. An intercultural praxis model, grounded in social justice, is used to address cultural differences within the context of systematic and historical relations of power.
Four Wednesdays from 4:00-6:00pm (September 28, Oct 5, 12, 19)
