CSUN Nazarian College to Help Small Businesses Deal with Pandemic Fallout

Top undergraduate and MBA students — members of the Small Business Consulting Program in the CSUN David Nazarian College of Business and Economics — will help small, San Fernando Valley-based businesses address challenges caused by temporary closures and other restrictive measures during the COVID-19 pandemic. CSUN President, Campus Leaders, Alumni and Supporters Driving Valley Business

CSUN’s impact and influence were highlighted in the San Fernando Valley Business Journal’s latest “The Valley 200” list, a look at the area’s most influential individuals. The list features 42 Matadors, including President Dianne F. Harrison and CSUN Nazarian College Dean Chandra Subramaniam and Executive-in-Residence Wendy Greuel. Harrison and Greuel were recognized among “Icons of Influence” — the area’s top 20 influencers.

Randy Hook ’16 (M.A., Music Industry Administration) is a member of the Compton Cowboys group that has recently received media attention for its positive work in the community. The CSUN alumnus is working to change the image of a city, mentoring children and bringing light to the overlooked history of Black cowboys.
