K-Pop Phenomenon BTS Is Subject of Conference at CSUN

The South Korean K-pop group BTS is a global phenomenon whose reach extends well beyond the music they make. For two days in May, CSUN welcomes academics, fans, and music and media industry practitioners to take part in a virtual conversation about the group’s influence and impact.

The National Institutes of Health has renewed a $1.45 million, four-year grant to CSUN biology professor Jonathan Kelber so his team in CSUN’s Developmental Oncogene Laboratory can continue research on inhibiting breast cancer metastasis.
