Outstanding Graduating Senior Award Applications

Each year, four graduating seniors are presented with the Outstanding Graduating Senior Award in recognition of academic excellence, contributions to campus and community, and exceptional achievements or personal life circumstances that have been overcome. Eligible students must complete the application form, including a statement of qualifications, and submit two letters of recommendation from faculty, staff or administrators. At least one of the recommendations must be from a member of the CSUN faculty. Deadline for applications is April 3. For questions, please call (818) 677-2391.

2017 Honors Convocation Nominations

CSUN will recognize outstanding graduates by inviting them to participate in Honors Convocation on May 13 at 6 p.m. To be eligible, graduates must be the recipient of a department, college or university award or scholarship that recognizes demonstrated excellence of an artistic, creative or athletic nature, or the display of unusual leadership ability or community service. Nominees must also possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better on all coursework through Fall 2016. Nominations are being accepted through April 7.

Recycle Mania Continues Through March 31

Associated Students (AS) Sustainability and Recycling is hosting Recycle Mania, an e-waste drive where the campus community is encouraged to participate by bringing in old and broken electronics to the AS Sustainability and Recycling office in the USU. Drop-off times are M-F, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and accommodations for large and multiple items can be made by calling (818) 677-4262 ahead of time.
