NIH Awards CSUN $1.46M to Support Cancer Research

The National Institutes of Health has awarded CSUN biology professor Jonathan Kelber and his team of graduate and undergraduate students $1.46 million over the next four years to support their ongoing research studies of the cancer “support wall” gene called PEAK1.

CSUN Lecturer, Alumnus Selected to Warner Bros. TV Writers’ Workshop

Matt Young, a lecturer and graduate of CSUN’s Department of Cinema and Television Arts, was one of only nine writers chosen out of more than 2,000 people who applied to participate in the 2016-17 Warner Bros. Television Writers Workshop.

Men’s and Women’s Basketball: Big West Conference Tournament at the Honda Center

March 8-11
Thanks to winning nine of the final 11 regular-season games, the third-seeded Women’s team will have a first-round bye in the tournament and will play the lowest remaining seed on March 8 at 6 p.m. The sixth-seeded Men’s team will face Cal State Fullerton on March 9 at 2:30 p.m.
