CSUN's men's and women's soccer teams won Big West regular-season titles in 2016.

Seasons of Success for CSUN Soccer Teams

In a first in the history of CSUN soccer, the men’s and women’s soccer teams both captured the regular-season Big West Conference championships. The CSUN men’s team hosts Sacramento State on Wednesday.

Taking place the day after the national election, the live show will focus on who is elected president of the United States and what that selection means for the nation, as well as other issues of importance to millennials. Hosts Ana Kasparian, a CSUN alumnus and part-time journalism lecturer, and John Iadarola of “The Young Turks” will be joined by Fusion host Nando Villa and a special guest.

New Changes to Spring 2017 Maximum Unit Loads and Waitlisting

For Spring 2017, students in good academic standing will be able to enroll in 16 units and wait list for seven units maximum as soon as registration begins. You may also enroll in repeated courses earlier starting Dec. 21.

Winter Term Registration

Registration for Winter Term 2016 is now open. Winter Term features academic-credit classes offered in a compressed format online and on campus between the Fall and Spring semesters. The online component runs Dec. 24, 2016 – Jan. 20, 2017. Face-to-face courses run Jan. 3-20, 2017. Anyone may register so long as they meet course prerequisites.

2017 FAFSA Now Open

Students can now complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online application to qualify for financial aid for the 2017-18 school year. The California deadline for state financial aid is March 2, 2017 and the federal deadline is June 30, 2018. Be sure to review the major changes implemented this year. State financial aid is given on a first-come, first-serve basis and Cal Grant requires submission of a school-certified GPA by March 2, 2017.
