CSUN community members celebrated National EOP Month on Sept. 28, highlighted by honoring the legacy of the late José Luis Vargas, who had directed the program from 1994 until he passed away on March 19.

TurboVote Encourages Students to Register to Vote

CSUN Associated Students has partnered with TurboVote to allow students to register, receive election reminders and request an absentee ballot for the Nov. 8 election.

Innovation Weeks at the Oviatt Library

The Oviatt Library will host daily coding challenges and hackathons, virtual reality explorations, Wikipedia editing sessions and more. Compete to earn badges — one lucky winner will receive a 3D-printed trophy with their own face on it. RSVP required.

Pathways to the Professoriate Scholarship Program Now Taking Applications

CSUN is excited to launch HSI Pathways to the Professoriate, a project that will offer a life-changing opportunity to 30 CSUN students. The program aims to prepare undergraduate students in the humanities and related fields to pursue a career in the professoriate by providing programming that prepares them for admission to and persistence through a Ph.D. program. The first info session takes place at 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 5 at Jerome Richfield Hall 319. Deadline to apply is Nov. 15. For more info contact hsipathways@csun.edu.
