A Touch of Broadway and Healthy Food at Magaram Center 25th Anniversary

Hosted by Emmy-winning actor Obba Babatundé, the silver anniversary for the Marilyn Magaram Center for Food Science, Nutrition and Dietetics featured healthy food demonstrations by alumni Barbara Fairchild and Paulette Lambert, as well as a performance by a group of Broadway performers.

 
 
 
 
 
 
Freshman Convocation took place on September 16.

Freshmen Embark on Their CSUN Journey at Convocation

Thousands of CSUN freshmen strode onto Oviatt Lawn to cheers from student leaders and the strains of March of the Matadors during the annual Freshman Convocation. This look ahead to their graduation on the same spot featured inspirational words from author Jon Ronson, whose book So You’ve Been Publicly Shamed was the 2016 Freshman Common Reading.
