Associated Students Summer Movie Fest

June 16-Sept. 1
The popular Thursday night movie series kicks off June 16 with the family hit Finding Nemo. After that there will be weekly movies on the lawn in front of the Oviatt Library, including such hits as Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. Admission is free and open to the public. Food trucks will be available.

Recognizing Merit 2016: Communication Disorders and Sciences Alumni Association, May 24

The Communication Disorders and Sciences Alumni Association will hold a special awards banquet to honor the outstanding 2016 graduates of the CDS department and distinguished alumni. The banquet included guest speakers, a silent auction and door prizes to raise funds in support of the Language, Speech and Hearing Center.

CSUN Alumni Annual Hollywood Bowl Night, June 18

We’re reelin’ in Matadors from all years for our annual event featuring Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Steely Dan. It’s also Hollywood Bowl’s Opening Night and there will be fireworks.

Whole Foods Strength Days to Aid Strength United

Two San Fernando Valley Whole Foods locations will host 5% Community Days on June 1 and 7, with the proceeds of pre-tax sales going to Strength United, one of CSUN’s community partners.

Summer 2016 Children’s Swim Lessons at the SRC

Swim lessons are available to the children and grandchildren of current SRC members. All swimming lessons are taught utilizing the American Red Cross guidelines and teaching techniques.
