CSU Recognizes Former Teen Mom

Amanda Nuno became a parent at the age of 14. While many doubted she would even graduate from high school, the teen mom overcame many obstacles and recently was honored as one of the California State University system’s outstanding students.

CSUN recognized the 46th anniversary of the founding of the Department of Africana Studies with a series of events, including a discussion led by the Rev. Zedar Broadous, former head of the San Fernando Valley Branch of the NAACP; a forum on the Black Lives Matter movement and a Black Wall Street Fair.

CSUN Signs MOU with American University of Armenia

The presidents of CSUN and the American University of Armenia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to foster scholarly and educational collaborations. The memorandum enables faculty and student exchanges between the two institutions, and encourages the development of joint teaching and research projects between CSUN and AUA faculty.
