During his career, acclaimed filmmaker Donald Petrie ’76 (Theatre) has directed the likes of Julia Roberts, Sandra Bullock, Brad Pitt, Gene Hackman, Matthew McConaughey, Jack Lemmon, Walter Matthau and a host of other Hollywood luminaries. Brandon E. Martin, CSUN’s director of intercollegiate athletics, served as the keynote speaker at the annual Harambee High School Conference on Feb. 27. The event aims to inspire African-American students from throughout California to prepare for college.

The CSUN Alumni Association hosted a mixer in Old Town Pasadena on Feb. 19. Alumni reconnected, networked and learned more about what’s new at CSUN.

CSUN hosted a luncheon on March 3 to recognize the Heritage Society and President’s Associates members who have made a financial commitment to help CSUN students through estate planning and donations to the university.
