Thanks to the vision and the leadership of the National Center on Deafness, CSUN’s program is one of the largest of its kind in the western United States and a model of excellence regionally, nationally and internationally. The 50th anniversary celebration culminated in a recent gala that drew luminaries such as Academy award-winning actress Marlee Matlin, pictured above on the left. Read more about the NCOD.

Published this fall, “The New Journal of Student Abstracts,” sparks the imagination of local K-12 students, encouraging them to consider pursuing careers in the sciences.
