Financial & Tax Services will be the contact point for the collection of the Federal Perkins loans once the student separates from the University and starts receiving repayment bills that require payment.
Financial & Tax Services must be contacted if the student has a Federal Perkins loan with California State University, Northridge (CSUN) with the following changes:
Any change to the student’s name, address, telephone number and email.
Submitted requests for student deferments (Students that have returned to the campus or is attending another campus as a minimum ½ time student).
Submitted requests for other types of deferments (economic hardship, unemployment or forbearance).
Submitted requests for a cancellation (Students employed at a qualifying position for a cancellation).

Federal Perkins repayments must be sent to the ECSI (Campus Billing Servicer) at:
ECSI, 181 Montour Run Rd, Coraopolis PA 15108
Deferment and cancellation forms are located on the ECSI website.

Students that miss paying a bill, must contact Financial & Tax Services or ECSI immediately.
Delinquent Federal Perkins loans will be referred to a collection agency with additional fees. The delinquent loan will be eligible for litigation and all court costs will be added to the loan. If it becomes necessary to accelerate the delinquent loan, the entire loan amount becomes due and payable. Upon acceleration of the loan, the student will lose all privileges to deferments, forbearance, and cancellations, except for total and permanent disability.
