eBenefits Self-Service

Dear Campus Colleague:

We are excited to share with you that CSUN is implementing new steps, enabling you to more easily enroll or make changes to your benefit elections in the future. eBenefits Self-Service will automate and simplify the process of enrolling and managing your benefits elections.

For example, when Open Enrollment occurs in Fall 2016, you will be able to authorize changes to your benefits elections in the myNorthridge portal, provided we have an eBenefits signature authorization form on file (this will authorize esignature for benefits related documents only). You will no longer need to download, complete, sign, and submit benefit forms.

Other advantages of eBenefits include:

• Access at work or at home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• User friendly
• Paperless environment

To prepare for this transition, Human Resources has created the following hyperlink to our website which contains the official CSU electronic signature authorization for benefits-related documents. Please complete the eBenefits Self-Service Electronic Signature Authorization Form and submit it to Human Resources in University Hall Room 165, via inter-campus mail at Mail Drop 8229, or send a scanned completed copy to benefitsadministration@csun.edu, by Friday, May 27, 2016. By completing this form whether you are currently eligible for benefits or become eligible in the future - having the form on file with Human Resources will enable you to elect and make changes to your benefits in the future, on-line.

By signing this document you are authorizing CSUN’s Human Resources / Benefits Administration to accept and process your electronic submission and you are agreeing to submit any supporting documents required to process your benefit elections.
