Accounts Receivable/Payroll:

Payroll Accounts Receivables are over-payments made to an employee through the payroll system.  Over-payments can occur for a variety of reasons including leave reported after cutoff, faculty time base changes, and changes made to benefits.  In the event of over-payment, Government Code Section 19838 requires reimbursement to the State.  Employees who are overpaid will receive a Notice of Over-payment from Payroll Administration which includes information on repayment arrangements.
