CSU Cross Campus Class Collaboration Program Offers Learning & Development Opportunities to Faculty & Staff Throughout the System
LEARN WITH COLLEAGUES ACROSS THE CSU!
Many classes that were formerly in-person are now offered virtually. This gives us a unique opportunity to extend campus classes beyond campus borders and offer a new way to share professional development across the CSU!
This series of cross-campus classes is scheduled from March through June. The following campuses have volunteered to participate in a cross-campus collaboration and offer classes exclusively to other participating campuses:
Chancellor’s Office, Channel Islands, Chico, East Bay, Fresno, Humboldt, Long Beach, Monterey Bay, Northridge, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Francisco, San Luis Obispo, and Stanislaus
March classes are listed below. Select any class link to register through CSU Learn. Registration opens February 21 on a first-come, first-served basis. Don’t delay!

Creating Interactive Video with Canvas Studio | March 1

Description:
Canvas Studio is a tool that allows you to engage with your students using video. You can record yourself and your computer screen, share videos with your students and incorporate questions into your videos to create engaging and impactful learning experiences. Canvas Studio also offers analytics, so you easily and quickly analyze what videos students are viewing, how long they are viewing, and when they stop viewing.
Recommended Attendees: Instructors who are new to using Canvas Studio, but are interested in incorporating engaging video into their course. This workshop is offered for enrichment and does not include a stipend.

QPR Suicide Prevention Training for Faculty and Staff | March 8

Knowing how to assist your family, friends, students or colleagues may be difficult without the necessary tools. Join us for this training as we provide you with insightful suicide data and trends, useful resource information, tips for recognizing signs of suicidal thoughts in others and ways to help prevent suicide. Register for this training to receive the Zoom meeting information and online training materials information. This training will highlight the fundamentals of creating accessible PowerPoint documents using Microsoft PowerPoint 2019 or 365. Participants will learn key structural elements for creating accessible documents.
Recommended Attendees: Staff, Faculty, IT Specialist, Web Developers, Web Content Creators, Graphic Designers, Instructional Support, Business Analysis, Financial Personnel, Marketing Specialist, and Admin Support.

Identify the principals of accessibility and universal design
