The Basics of Pepper Spray | September 6
For those considering the option to carry or employ any aerosol defense spray, this workshop covers a basic understanding of: the legislative intent, criminal & civil liabilities, moral principles, regulating citizens’ possession & use of aerosol defense sprays; the chemical and mechanical properties; psychological & physiological effects; principles of aerosol defense first aid & decontamination & the principles for maintaining, storing & disposing of aerosol defense sprays. Commit To Be Fit (CTBF) is a free fitness program for CSUN staff/faculty/students and community members. The program is led by CSUN Kinesiology students under the supervision of CSUN Kinesiology faculty, four times per week, Monday through Thursday, during Fall (9/13 - 11/30/2017).

Lunchtime Express | Mondays & Wednesdays
The Student Recreation Center (SRC) offers several Lunchtime Express Group Exercise classes to all faculty and staff. These classes are free and you do not have to have an SRC membership to participate. Come join SRC members on your lunch break to pursue your wellness goals. This program is offered as part of the CSUN HR Professional Development program. Look for classes marked with the red sun icon on the Group Exercise class schedule.
