Seasonal Influenza "Flu' Shots Available at Klotz SHC for $19

This year’s Seasonal Influenza “Flu” Vaccine (2016-2017) is available for all students, faculty, and staff of California State University Northridge. This season’s vaccine provides protection against four strains of influenza viruses. The cost is only $19.

Flu shots will be given by appointment at the Klotz Student Health Center. To schedule your appointment please call, 818 677-3666.

Please bring your ID. Cash or check payment accepted.

*Individuals 65 and older may receive the standard flu vaccine. However, there is a “high-dose” alternative. Ask your healthcare provider for more information. The “high-dose” vaccine is not available at the Klotz Student Health Center.

Campus Night Safety Walk | November 9

Join Environmental Health & Safety and colleagues from the CSUN community this evening (November 9th) as we walk the campus and brainstorm suggestions on ways to improve the campus' safety.

Matador Book Club - The Girl On The Train | November 9

Join us Wednesday, November 9th, Noon to 1:00 pm in Oviatt 16 for a lively discussion of The Girl On The Train, by Paula Hawkins. Even if you've only seen the movie, drop in and see how much you're missing by not being a regular part of our Matador Book Club.

First Time Home Buyer's Seminar | November 10

The University Corporation will host their Annual First Time Home Buyer's Seminar for Faculty and Staff. Bring your spouses and friends. The purpose of the seminar is to educate the attendees about the in's and out's of purchasing a home in today's real estate environment.

Attendees will gain an understanding of:

  • The role escrow and of the real estate buyer's agent;
  • The importance of choosing the right lender; and
  • The legal aspects of property disclosure documents prior to signing.

2016 Latin American Film and Art Festival | November 18 - 21

The Latin American Festival is taking place at California State University Northridge from November 18 through 21, 2016. Sponsored by the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, the Department of Cinema and Television Arts, the Mike Curb College of Arts, Media, and Communication, and UNAM Los Angeles. The four day event will feature films highlighting some of Latin America's most talented filmmakers.

All events are FREE of charge and open to the entire CSUN community and the general public. However space is limited so please reserve your spot by ordering your tickets at Eventbrite (this is a free service).

Indigenous Awareness Month gathering: American Indian Student Association, American Indian Studies Program, First Nations Alumni Association.
