Parking & Transportation Services Information Update
Due to the significant reduction of on-campus activities in the Fall 2020 Semester, Parking Services will be closing the B-3, G-3, and G-6 parking structures in order to focus its services within the central core of the campus. The B-5 parking structure and all surface parking lots will remain open.
In recognition of this reduction in services, a temporary 50% fee discount is being instituted for all Fall 2020 Semester Parking permits, effective immediately. This includes payroll deduction, permits purchased online, permits purchased in person, and daily dispenser permits.
- For payroll deduction employees who have already paid ahead of time for the month of September 2020, your fee will count for both September 2020 and October 2020 parking fees. Your first deduction will now begin in November at the 50% discounted rate.
- For payroll deduction employees that emailed in their requests and whose deductions begin in September 2020, your deduction rate will reflect the 50% discount based on your respective bargaining unit fee.
- For students and employees who purchased a Fall 2020 Semester parking permits outright, a 50% permit refund will be automatically issued. Please allow Cash Services 3- 4 weeks to process these refunds. Students and employees that purchased a 2020/2021 Annual permit, will be refunded 50% of the Fall Semester portion of your permit. No action is required and please allow Cash Services 3-4 weeks to process these refunds.
Please note: F10 parking permits will no longer be available for sale. For those who have already purchased an F10 permit, for the Fall 2020 semester, the permit will be valid in all student lots.
For all questions, please email parking@csun.edu or call the Parking Office at 818-677-2157.

Help your community get its fair share
A complete count means more funding for local communities and fair representation in Congress for California. An accurate count means delivering services, building new infrastructure and providing money and resources for everyone, including those who are not eligible to vote.
Increase resources for college students
The census drives federal money for student loans, investment in higher education, affordable housing, and where businesses locate jobs.
Just answer nine questions!
The census asks nine questions including: Name, Address, Phone number, Date of birth, Gender, Ethnic and racial background. There is no citizenship question.
Your data is safe and secure
The information you provide is completely confidential. It cannot be shared with law enforcement, immigration or any other agency, or used for any purpose other than the census.
