Tax deductible donations can be made to a newly-established scholarship fund honoring Greg Jackson, professor and coordinator of the Career Counseling Program in the Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling in the Michael D. Eisner College of Education at California State University, Northridge. Jackson passed away on July 12, 2013, after a brief illness.
Jackson was a member of the staff at the CSUN Career Counseling Center prior to his appointment as a full-time faculty member in the EPC department in 1992. He entered the Faculty Early Retirement Program in 2011. Colleagues admired him as a national leader in his field who represented the best that CSUN has to offer. He cared about students and their welfare, setting high standards for those he mentored to help them meet their own career goals. Jackson supported many on and off campus through his focus on the study of positive psychology and the emphasis he put on expressing gratitude as a means to healthy living. His CSUN colleagues, students and friends are grateful for his time with them, and will miss him very much.
Donations to the scholarship fund honoring Jackson can be made online. Please write “Greg Jackson Scholarship” in the Special Instructions box. Alternatively, checks can be made to the "CSUN Foundation" with Greg Jackson Scholarship written in the notation section and mailed to the address below.
