Quake Heroes Expo @ Cal State Northridge

CSUN faculty, staff, and students are invited to a special “Quake Heroes Expo” on Saturday, February 3, at CSUN in the University Student Union (Northridge Center), to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Northridge earthquake. The Expo is organized in partnership with the University, City of Los Angeles Councilman John Lee, the City of Los Angeles Emergency Management Department, the Statewide California Earthquake Center, and many others.  It will feature three screenings of Quake Heroes, a new motivational documentary that blends Hollywood storytelling with real-life heroism of neighbors and first responders after the Northridge earthquake. In addition, attendees will be able to visit booths for each of the “Seven Steps to Earthquake Safety” where they can learn life-saving skills, sign up for alerts and trainings, purchase discounted emergency supplies, ride in an earthquake simulator, and more!  To learn more, view a trailer for the film, and register to attend visit EarthquakeCountry.org/csunexpo.
