Location:
Human Resources Training Room, Oviatt Library 16, Garden Level

Facilitated By: John Kephart III, Associate Professor & Director of Forensics, Communication Studies

Employees for Success

Every day we sell ourselves and our ideas. As a faculty member working on a grant application, research competition, or compiling your PIF, or as a staff member pitching a procedure or preparing your self-evaluation, it is important to recognize the significance of your work, your ideas, and yourself, and how to sell or convey this in an efficient and successful way.

By attending this session, you will:

  • Be able to evaluate the needs of  your audience;
  • Choose an appropriate approach; and
  • Concisely and clearly communicate your goal(s).
