Sustainability

Did you know that Sustainability is one of the campus’ seven priorities?  Do you understand why this is important to the President and campus and the role that you can play in addressing it?  We’ll discuss the University’s mandates and goals and what the university will need to achieve for both water and energy conservation – and where you fit into this picture.

Workshop attendees will learn:

  • What CSUN has done to conserve water and energy
    • Discuss historical, current and future projects
  • What the attendee can do to help the university achieve our goals
  • What and how to help make changes in their department
  • Learn about the new Environmentally Preferred Purchasing Policy
