• TURN ON OF PHOSPHOLIPASES IN EARLY SEA URCHIN DEVELOPMENT. Development of assays for detection of changes in the enzyme activities which might account for the altered lipid content of membrane density gradient fractions during early development and production of lipid second messengers from the membranes.
• DENSITY GRADIENT MEMBRANE FRACTIONS AND IMMUNOHISTOCHEMICAL DETECTION. Preparation of antibodies in rabbits and their use to stain sea urchin embryos to test for localization of membrane components of the four fractions.
• NA+K+ATPASE LOCALIZATION IN EARLY DEVELOPMENT. Detection by density gradient separation and histochemical and immunochemical methods.
